Raw Honeycomb Tub

Superfood from the hives, raw honeycomb at its finest

The most nutritious of all raw honey is honey still sealed in the wax cells of the honeycomb. Honey in its purest form (inside the cells) contains very little water. But honey, when exposed to air, has a tendency to pull water from the atmosphere. Thus ensuring honeycomb honey is packed with vitamins, enzymes, pollen and antioxidants.

Our hand-cut raw honeycomb is finally here for those that like just the comb! It is available in two varieties, our beautiful Cambridgeshire Borage honeycomb and our Acacia variety from Hungary which has
a very pleasant mild taste with hints of vanilla. Both are suitable for all the family due to its fresh and light flavour.

Our Hungarian Acacia honey has a low glucose content so tends to stay runny for much longer than other light coloured honeys.

A common question we are asked is regarding the wax and if it can be eaten. The simple answer is yes you can! Although it can be very chewy, and makes for a good, natural alternative to chewing gum. However it isn't advisable for it to be consumed in large quantities.

Our Acacia honeycomb comes in three sizes;

  • a 500g durable plastic reusable tub with a versatile lid which is great for taking out chunks and keeping the rest of the comb fresh when replaced. (weight can fluctuate based on harvest and comb size, minimum net weight 475g)
  • a 400g durable plastic reusable tub with a versatile lid which is great for taking out chunks and keeping the rest of the comb fresh when replaced. (weight can fluctuate based on harvest and comb size, minimum net weight 400g)
  • a 200g durable plastic reusable tub with a versatile lid which is great for taking out chunks and keeping the rest of the comb fresh when replaced(weight can fluctuate based on harvest and comb size, minimum net weight 185g)

    Delicious honeycomb with a mildly sweet flavor. Goes great with Bree and crackers.

    Delicious

    Delicious, perfect for pancakes, porridge and anything else! My only criticism is that the tub/packaging could be better.. the lid fits into the bottom casing, rather than sits outside the casing, this can make it quite messy and sticky. 5* for flavour and texture, but 2* for the tub

    My first time having raw honeycomb. The product, the service and the packaging are all brilliant. I really liked my experience with this wonderful business. I'm back to buy again already.

    Keep up the great work of saving the bees!

    Melts like butter

    I bought 2 of the borage and one acacia for myself and family. Packed so well! Never had anything packed as well as this do that's s my first 5/5 and then I tried one of the borage honeycomb and let me tell you it's like I remember eating honeycomb straight out of the hive. It taste so natural and it just dissappears on your tongue like warm butter. The odd but of honeycomb does stick to your teeth so for anyone buying, keep this in mind but most of it just melts away like no other honeycomb has ever done apart from I stated before. Worth every single penny! And I can't wait to get more. Buy now!!! Because you'll regret not buying it once it goes out of stock.
