This honey (known as the jewel of Yemen) is harvested from nectar of a single floral source, the Sidr Tree (Lote Tree) to give you a distinct and stunning palatal pleasure for honey enthusiasts. It is 100% cold pressed and raw. One of the most exclusive honeys in the world and a superfood with the higher royal jelly content of 5-10% which is higher than the usual amount of 1-2% in most other branded royal jelly honey.

This special Winter Harvest is concentrated & extremely thick making it chewy in its texture similar to caramel. It has a very distinct but strong aroma of sidr which is a deep, slightly warm honey smell, lacking that floral over-sweetness. The honey has been cold pressed directly from the hives and only coarse filtered. You can be sure it is unadulterated as well as unheated (unpasteurised) to protect the natural components within the honey that give it the vast health supporting properties.

This honey has a relatively-high fructose content, meaning it doesn't crystallise but becomes thicker in texture. This Sidr honey is rich in vitamins: A, B1, B2, B3, C, D and E. Some of the vitamins typically present in royal jelly include: Thiamine (B1) Riboflavin (B2) Pantothenic acid (B5) Pyridoxine (B6) Niacin (B3) Folic acid (B9) Inositol (B8) and Biotin (B7).

It has also been found to have a pH that is the same as the pH of the human body, this means it is easily absorbed and processed by the body quicker. Difficulty in transporting this monofloral honey also adds to the cost and is one of the reasons of its scarcity.
